Charger / Adapter Information

Not sure if your Charger is Charging?  The green light may be
on but it still may not be charging the batteries.

Hook the adapter / charger up to the camcorder and see if it 
at least powers the camcorder.  If its a yes, then at least 
its doing 1/2 the job.  Even though it may be powering up, 
the battery section still may be ineffective, or you may have 
bad / weak batteries.  

Best thing to do is bring it to a repair shop or perhaps 
an electronics store to have them checked with a meter.  
If the battery is bad it will have an unacceptable voltage 
reading and it means it can not be recharged to whats needed 
to run the camcorder.  A new battery purchase is in order.
The adapter/charger is also checked with a meter to check its 
output levels. The difference here is, many adapters can be 
repaired and for less than half of the cost of a replacement 
adapter.

Most shops will provide this check for free.
