LCD REPLACEMENT

The larger the LCD screen the more expensive.
Sharp after market LCD's range from $175 to $335.00.  Sony's are about the same on camcorders, digital cameras and Mavicas.

If your LCD isn't lighting up, that doesnt mean the LCD is bad.  Could be the backlight or perhaps a bad or 
loose connection.

This is not a consumer level repair, meaning expertise, service literature and special tools may be
required and are not provided by Pro-Cam.  Having typed that, we will sell you any part you need for
the repair of your camcorder, camera or Mavica.

If your item is in warranty (part warranty is usually 1 year) as long as your screen is not cracked
(that will not be covered under warranty) it is worth finding the receipt.  The labor charge is
usually at the minimum rate which is $80 for Mavicas, $130 for Digital camcorders and cameras, 
and $100 for all other consumer camcorders.
