PTV - Screen replacement


Many PTV's have 3 screens.
Outer screen, if smooth, is your Protective Screen.
Next screen in, will have vertical ridges and is the lenticular.
Next in is the Fresnel.

These screens are expensive !  Average you can expect to pay is $150 per screen.
Some models replacement screens can be installed by the consumer and some can't.
Most that can't can usually be done by service centers for a minor charge and a service call charge if done in home.


PTV - CRT replacement


CRTS are also expensive items to replace.  There is a wide price range with this
item of $150 to $300 and is Model specfic.  
This is not a common item to need replacing and depending on the age and original
cost of the TV in question, is always up to the customer to call it.  
Repair range, in home, $400 - $650.
